Southbury’s Department of Public Works and Oxford-based Asphalt Repair Solutions will begin work on the reconstruction of Bucks Hill Road between Main Street North (Route 6) and Lum Lot Road on Monday, August 3.
Approximate work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Alternating one-way traffic patterns and temporary road closures will be in effect while work is underway.
Through traffic should avoid Bucks Hill Road in the work area. Local traffic will have access to their homes with limited interruptions.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes. Vehicles are not permitted to park on the street during the work. Town officials are asking residents to use caution and be mindful of work crews in the area.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and coordination with contractors.
