Southbury Parks and Recreation is kicking off its 2026 Summer Outdoor Concert Series at Settlers Park, bringing four free live music nights to the community every Monday from July 6th through July 27th. Show time is 6:00 p.m. at Settlers Park, 280 Crook Horn Road.

Families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy a wide variety of performances, which will range from classic rock to pop rock, Americana to folk, and more.

Concerts are free and open to the public. In the event of rain, cancellations will be posted at southburyct.myrec.com on the Parks and Recreation page.

“We are looking forward to our second summer concert series at Settlers Park,” said Meghan Lennon, Director of Southbury Parks and Recreation. “Join us to enjoy the park, playground, and live music from the Gazebo. Bring the kids with your picnic dinners or bring money for the food trucks that will be accompanying us.”

This summer’s concert series kicks off on Monday, July 6, featuring music from “Marc Berger + RIDE”. Marc’s songs span the full range of American roots music: country, blues, folk and rock n’ roll. He has performed at Austin’s SXSW Music Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival and has opened shows for Bob Dylan and other national acts. Inspired by Marc’s lifelong love affair with the American West, RIDE, his critically acclaimed current release, has received national airplay.

On Monday, July 13, Southbury’s own “One Track Mind” will take you on a musical odyssey, playing both crowd favorites and forgotten gems. From Supertramp to Steely Dan, Aerosmith to Alanis, the Pretenders to Pink Floyd, Coldplay to Cocker, OTM’s playlist spans decades and genres that satisfy any musical taste. OTM has been playing in New Haven County’s premier venues for over 15 years.

On Monday, July 20, The Sun Kings will deliver the full Beatles experience. The Connecticut-based group will perform many of the Beatles’ No. 1 hits, as well as some of their lesser-known tunes – all performed with an attention to detail duplicating their tight harmonies, fancy guitar work, and solid backbeat.

To round out the summer series, “My Brother’s Band” will perform on Monday, July 27. The rock group is known for mixing original songs with high-energy covers from classic rock legends. “My Brother’s Band” has developed a loyal following with a dynamic setlist that includes songs by Grand Funk Railroad, Steve Winwood, Ian Moore, James Gang, and .38 Special. The group also regularly features fan-favorite tracks from Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter, blending well-known hits with original material for a full evening of rock-driven entertainment.

This year will feature two different food vendors: Lucky Dog’s World Famous Hot Dogs will be in attendance on July 6, 13, and 27. D’Andrea’s Deli will be on site on July 20. Their menus can be found at www.luckydogfoodtruck.com and www.dandreasdeli.com, respectively.
