The Southbury Democratic Town Committee (SDTC) recently presented its $500 Annual Scholarship Award to 2026 Pomperaug High School graduate Caitlyn Bellesheim.
Selected by the Scholarship Committee for her outstanding compassion, leadership, and commitment to community service, Caitlyn has spent years volunteering with organizations serving people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Those experiences inspired her to pursue political science and economics at American University.
