Due to weather conditions, all Region 15 schools will operate on a 1-hour delay today AND a scheduled early dismissal for Wednesday, March 4, 2026,
What was already scheduled as a planned early dismissal will now be combined into a further shortened day with the 1-hour delayed opening.
A message from the district reads, “We understand this adjustment is different from what we have done in the past and may cause some confusion. However, with today’s half-day schedule, a longer delay would have required canceling school entirely. A 1-hour delay allows our bus drivers, staff, and high school student drivers additional time to arrive under safer conditions.”
Today’s Schedule:
- Pomperaug High School: 8:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Lunch served)
- Middle Schools: 9:05 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (Lunch served)
- Elementary Schools: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Lunch served)
