Local students in Newbury Musical Theatre’s Junior Players program will present A Kid’s Life, a short musical performance for the community this Friday evening at Rochambeau Middle School.
The mini-musical imagines what happens when all technology suddenly fails, leaving kids to rediscover creativity and adventure without screens. The kids are in a panic and don’t know what to do, until Grandpa and Grandma arrive on the scene and introduce them to a day filled with daring and adventure, music and imagination… all without fancy gadgets!
The performance features students in grades 3-5 and is the culmination of a Junior Players Workshop.
The event is open to the public and a $5 suggested donation will be accepted to support future Newbury Musical Theatre programs.
