SOUTHBURY/MIDDLEBURY — Regional School District 15 schools are closed today, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, due to snowy weather conditions.
A message on the district’s website reads, “While today’s storm may not be a significant event, the timing is extremely difficult and is predicted to be at the heaviest while buses are on the roads.”
The district had previously scheduled an early dismissal for Tuesday, meaning winter break is now beginning a day early.
As a result, the Southbury Senior Center is also closed, as it operates under the school district’s inclement weather policy. All meals, activities, classes, and non-medical transportation have been canceled.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for most of Western Connecticut from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
