The Southbury Garden Club will close out its year of programming with a free presentation on Tuesday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Southbury Library.
Author and humorist Neal Sanders will expound on why “Gardening is Painless (And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves)” in an educational and humorous environment.
Find out why Slinkys will not prevent squirrels from raiding your bird feeders and how giving a flower show ticket to a gardener can injure your back. Enjoy a few final laughs before putting your garden to bed for the winter.
Mr. Sanders will have books available for sale. The event is free and open to the public.
