Securely dispose of your sensitive documents and outdated electronics at this community shredding and recycling event. Standard document boxes are $10 each and large boxes are $20. Old computers and laptops can also be recycled for $20 per item—hard drives will be destroyed on site at the time of acceptance.
Proceeds support local service projects sponsored by the Southbury Community Lions Club.

This free, family-friendly event features hands-on arts and crafts, raffles, and community activities. Enjoy painting, planting, pinwheel making, rock painting, and more with local organizations including Southbury – Middlebury Acting Responsibly Together (SMART), The Rochambeau Rebels, The Southbury Public Library and Pomperaug Warriors Youth Cheer & Football.

Justice Southbury will offer the twenty-third in its Speaker Series of interactive Zoom conversations. Courtney Winston, national President of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers, will discuss “Lessons on Law and Race and Beyond.”
Courtney Winston is a civil litigator in Richmond, Virginia. A highly sought-after public speaker, she has presented at conferences across the country. As President of the national Society of Women Trial Lawyers, Courtney presides over an organization whose motto is “Behind every great woman is a society of great women.”
Justice Southbury is a local non-partisan group whose mission is to cultivate an inclusive community where all are treated fairly and welcomed as equals. The group also holds Sunday rallies at the intersection of N Main Street and S Main Street in Southbury.
