Our goal at the Record is to simply fill the void of local news coverage and tell the stories that slip through the cracks of other regional outlets.
Our coverage aims to include the voices of the community, with on-the-ground style reporting, shining a light on the everyday wins and struggles of the people who call Southbury their home.
All articles with a byline of ‘Southbury Record’ are written by Evan Triantafilidis. Evan graduated from nearby Newtown High School and then graduated with a B.A. from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
