In Southbury’s unofficial local results, Gov. Ned Lamont beat primary challenger Josh Elliott 752 votes to 404, and Republican congressional candidate Chris Shea beat Jonathan DeBarros 633 votes to 129.
Both results mirrored the outcomes statewide.
Lamont, seeking a third term, will face Republican state Sen. Ryan Fazio of Greenwich in November.
Shea moves on to challenge four-term Democratic incumbent Jahana Hayes in the general election in Connecticut’s fifth congressional district.
