With the world’s eyes on Augusta National Golf Club this week for the 2026 Masters Tournament, a Southbury golf course is making the sport easier than ever for young golfers to fall in love with this summer.
Gainfield Farms Golf Course, located at 255 Old Field Road, is one more than a dozen Connecticut locations participating in the returning “Golf with Us” initiative, a partnership between Bank of America and Youth on Course that allows kids to play golf for $5 or less per round.
Launched last year, the program helped nearly 100,000 young people tee off across the country. Back for its second year, the program brings new and expanded offerings to the area.
Children ages 6 to 18 can sign up for a one-year Youth on Course membership – courtesy of Bank of America – through June 15 at BofA.com/GolfwithUs.
Local courses in the program include the nine-hole Gainfield Farms Golf Course, as well as Crestbrook Park Golf Course in Watertown. New this year, members can also access $5 indoor golf simulator rentals and a free lesson from a PGA Pro at Golf Galaxy locations in Milford and Norwalk.

“Golf with Us expands access for young people in Southern Connecticut interested in learning the game of golf and developing critical life skills that will benefit them on and off the course,” said Bill Tommins, president, Bank of America Southern Connecticut. “By engaging youth in our communities, this partnership makes it possible for more young players to build confidence and experience the transformational power of sports.”
Enrollment is free for the first 150,000 new participants. Families who enrolled last year can renew at a 20% discount. Sign up before June 15 at BofA.com/GolfwithUs.
