Southbury Joins Statewide Challenge to Help Residents Save on Prescriptions

The Town of Southbury has announced its participation in the ArrayRx Town vs Town Enrollment Challenge, a statewide initiative to assist residents in accessing affordable prescription medications.

The challenge pits cities and towns across Connecticut in a friendly competition to see which community can enroll the most residents in ArrayRx, Connecticut’s free prescription discount program. Since its launch in October of 2023, thousands of people living in Connecticut have saved an average of $200 on their medications.

By joining, Southbury is taking an active role in making healthcare more affordable for its residents while competing for the title of top-enrolling town in the state.

“We are happy to be a part of this challenge because it will have a positive impact on our citizens,” said First Selectman Jeff Manville. “By signing up for ArrayRx, our residents can save on their prescription medications, and as a town we can show our commitment to well-being and affordability.”

To get involved and start saving on prescriptions, enroll at ArrayRxCard.com.

Enrollment is also available at the Farmer’s Market (Thursdays at Town Hall), the office of the First Selectman, or at the Senior Center.

Municipalities currently participating in the challenge include Colchester, East Hartford, Danbury, Meriden, Middletown, North Haven, Stamford and Stratford. Municipalities will earn points for different tasks such as partnering with a local nonprofit, distributing materials, and for each new person enrolled in their town. At the end of 2025, the top performing towns will be announced.
